Tad Spence

Mr. Spence is the Director of Finance at Karmel Capital, where he oversees the finance, accounting, and financial reporting functions across the firm's investment funds and management company.

Prior to joining Karmel, Tad worked with New Republic Partners supporting finance, accounting, compliance and operations for the firm. Prior to New Republic Partners he managed fund accounting and fund operations across multiple private equity investment vehicles at NovaQuest Capital Management. Tad began his career at Grant Thornton LLP in the firm's asset management assurance practice, focusing on audit services for private equity and venture capital funds.

Mr. Spence obtained a Master's degree in Accounting from the Jenkins Graduate College of Management at North Carolina State University and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington. Tad is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of North Carolina.
